Report launching on ICT Initiatives in Education

Save the Children is launching a report on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Initiatives in Education by the government, local and international NGOs and the private sector throughout the country.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will speak as the chief guest at the launching ceremony of the report titled ‘‘Mapping ICT in Education Initiatives in Bangladesh’’ on Jan 31 (Saturday) in Dhaka.

Primary and Mass Education Ministry Secretary Quazi Akhhar Hossain and Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director SM Ashraful Islam will remain present as the special guests. Representatives of NGOs and of private organizations and government officials will also attend the ceremony.

The objective of the report is to document and analyse how ICT is integrated into education programs from pre-primary to secondary education in Bangladeshi.
