Two diesel generator brands — Marapco and Jet — with original world famous Perkins engines are hitting Bangladesh market with a wide range of generators.
SH Power Pac Ltd, a concern of SH Group and distributor in Bangladesh for leading Middle Eastern generator company Dubai-based Jubaili Bros, is bringing the brands to the local market.
Of the two brands, Marapco is assembled in the United Kingdom and Jet in the United Arab Emirates. Both the brands use famous alternators, Leroy Somer or Meccalte.
Jubaili Bros Business Development Director Jed Jubaili and SH Power Pac Ltd Managing Director Shahjahan Mridha will formally launch sale of the products at a function in Dhaka on Feb 16.
SH Power Pac Ltd Business Development Director Aminul Ahsan said the company would be dealing with generators of 10 KVA to 2,500 KVA capacity range.
He said SH Power Pac Ltd would deliver generators of any capacity and any quantity within a maximum time of 6-8 weeks from the order date and make original spare parts available in Bangladesh market.
Both Marapco and Jet meet ISO8528, BS4999, BS5514, IEC60034, VDE0530 and standards. Apart from this, Jet generators qualify BS5000 and NEMA MG1.22 standards.
Aminul Ahsan said the business between SH Power Pac and Jubaili Bros would open up a new avenue in Dhaka-Dubai trade relations.
