Airtel celebrated World Telecommunication Day

Airtel Airtel Bangladesh Limited celebrated ‘World Telecommunication Day’ with colorfulmotor rally in the city.
Honorable State Minister, Information and Communications Technology Division, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP,attended the event along with other members of Telecommunication fraternity including Mr. AshrafulHaq Chowdhury, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Airtel Bangladesh.

Airtel Bangladesh Limited, the fastest growing telecom operator of the country participated in a rally in the city on the occasion of ‘World Telecommunication Day’.Honorable State Minister, Information and Communications Technology Division, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, graced the rally as the chief guest along with, Mr. Imran Ahmad, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Post, Telecom and ICT; Mr. Mouazzam Hossain Ratan, MP, Member, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Post, Telecom and ICT; Mr. Md. Faizur Rahman Chowdhury, Secretary, Post and Telecommunications Division ; Mr. Sunil Kanti Bose, BTRC Chairman and other officials.
The event was started off with balloons being launched in the sky by the State Minister, representing different participants at the rally.

The motor vehicles bedecked in different shapes and colors then started rolling on the street, accompanied by music and fanfare. The Honorable State Minister gave a brief speech where he talked about the future of ICT and the contributions of mobile and other technological companies in making Digital Bangladesh into a reality.
