iPad 2We never thought the screen on the iPad 2 (or the original iPad, for that matter) was lacking, but the iPad’s new Retina Display is simply eye-popping. On the 2012 iPad’s release date, a handful of apps took full advantage of the screen’s capability, but we can easily see app makers lavishing their efforts on that 2,048×1,536-resolution screen before long. iPad games should especially benefit. High-definition movies and TV shows look simply gorgeous, and video shot with the built-in, full-1,080p recorder is stunning.
